Step 1: Site Selection
The first step is to select a site for your Dream Home. This can be a piece of land that you already own or a lot that we own. You can also work with one of our highly experienced DFW Custom Homes real estate agent affiliates to help you find and purchase the perfect lot. We take all of your desires into consideration, such as schools, HOA, population density, and more.
Step 2: Design Your Dream Home
The second step is to design your Dream Home. You will work closely with our interior design expert, builder, and floor planner to make the home of your dreams a reality. This step will include selecting the floorplan, home elevations, colors, material selections, fixtures, and finishes. We will also go over any special features you want, such as solar, energy efficient materials, or installation of a home automation system.
Step 3: Pricing Review & Contract Signing
Based off of the floorplan and design selections that you have selected in Step 2, we will put together a construction contract and estimated cost to build for you to review. We pride ourselves on being able to turn proposals around quickly and in a time frame that fits your needs.
Step 4: Acquiring Permits
Once a signed contract is in place, this step involves obtaining the building permits from the appropriate government authorities and Home Owners Associations (HOAs). Our team of specialists will take care of everything, there is no need to find or screen a third party.
Step 5: Site Preparation
This step is to make sure your lot is "build ready." We will apply fill dirt where necessary, clear the build location of trees and shrubs, grade, and do everything necessary to get your lot in prime condition for construction.
Step 6: Construction Begins
This is the exciting phase! We will construct your dream home and walk you step-by-step through the entire process. Our unique process allows for complete transparency throughout the entire build process.
Step 7: Move In!
Once we receive the certificate of occupancy and all final construction and closing details are completed, you are ready to move in and enjoy your new Dream Home!
